Welcome to McCully House Inn & Wine Cottages
Pamper yourself in a National Historic Landmark wrapped in opulence, comfort and convenience
McCully House Inn is nestled in the heart of the Jacksonville Historic District, a designated National Historical Landmark. The home was built in 1862 by John McCully, Jacksonville’s first doctor and Justice of the Peace. The home was the first two-story building in the bustling boomtown.
Step out the front door to experience the preserved downtown filled with fine artisan craft boutiques, antique shops, and fine dining. Downtown Jacksonville was recently rated 13th on a list of the Top 25 Cutest Main Streets in Smaller Towns by Fodor’sTravel.
Enjoy the flourishing English Gardens at the McCully House Inn and neighboring historic homesteads.
Our boutique inn offers six distinctive deluxe guestrooms and three luxurious suites. Within your private room you will find plush bedding, Serta Presidential pillowtop beds, private baths, terrycloth bathrobes and spa toiletries. More amenities vary by room or suite.
Just around the corner, off the main street are three quiet, private studio Wine Cottages with the same popular amenities found in our rooms and suites. Both locations also include free parking, complimentary wifi, and complimentary breakfast certificate cards at local restaurants.
Adjacent to the lobby, you will find the Cricket Hill tasting room. Thursday through Sunday from noon until 6pm, they invite our guests to experience Southern Oregon’s wine country from a winemaker’s perspective as the owners pour you a complimentary flight of Cricket Hill’s premium wines.
The combination of location, convenience and ambiance just can’t be beat.

We stayed at the McCully King suite for 2 nights.it was booked as part of the wine tour package. 6 of the 13 wineries we’re open since it was a weekday in December. The room was great and the wines even better. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Jacksonville.

Stayed for 5 nights. Everyone very helpful and friendly. Drove from Wisconsin for a wedding and some sightseeing. Used this place as a base. Great walking trail around the town. Also, great restaurants within walking distance. Within an 1 ½ hours we were @ either Crater Lake or the California Redwoods. Also, many wineries for tasting if that is what interests you.

I made the reservation with Laurie who was very helpful and polite. She suggested the “romance package” that they offer. It included chocolates, champagne and $50 toward dinner at Bella Union. Laurie made the dinner reservations for us. We could have gone to Gogi’s or DejaVue but our flight came in too late. The best part about this experience was the room. It was located at the McCully House (see above) in the Kaizen Suite. Plenty of space in the beautiful room, small private patio, and close to everything in Jacksonville. All this and the inclusion of breakfast coupons ($10 each person) to local eateries.
